The Central Board of Secondary Education will release the CBSE Class 12 Result 2026 soon, ending the long wait for over 18 lakh students. The board has already completed the evaluation process and is now verifying data before activating the result link.
CBSE conducted the Class 12 exams between February and April 2026. Sources suggest the board may announce the results anytime, without prior notice. Students should keep their roll numbers and login details ready to avoid last-minute issues.
Students can check their results on official websites like cbseresults.nic.in and results.cbse.nic.in. During peak hours, websites may slow down. In that case, students can use DigiLocker, UMANG App, or SMS services for quicker access.
To pass, students must score at least 33% marks in each subject. The online marksheet will be provisional but valid for college admissions and entrance exams like CUET. Schools will provide the original certificates later.
CBSE continues to focus on student well-being. Like previous years, the board will not release a toppers list to reduce pressure. Instead, it will award merit certificates to top-performing students. The board has also used digital and AI-based evaluation systems to ensure faster and more accurate results.
Students who are not satisfied with their scores can apply for re-evaluation, while supplementary exams will be held in the coming months.
