The Karnataka School Examination and Assessment Board (KSEAB) is currently evaluating answer sheets for the SSLC (Class 10) Examination 2026, similar to other major results like the CBSE Class 10 Result 2026. While the board has not officially confirmed the exact result date, reports suggest that the results are likely to be announced in early May.
This year, the SSLC exams were conducted from March 18 to April 2, 2026, with around 6 lakh students appearing across the state. Based on previous trends, the board usually declares results within four to five weeks after the exams. Therefore, students can expect the result between May 1 and May 7.
The evaluation process began in the second week of April and is progressing as per schedule. Once released, students will be able to check their results on official websites such as karresults.nic.in and kseab.karnataka.gov.in using their registration number and date of birth.
A notable change this year is the revised marking system. Marks from the third language paper will not be included in the final score, reducing the total marks to 525. This update aims to simplify the evaluation process and standardize scoring.
After the results are announced, students will have multiple options. Those who pass can choose streams like Science, Commerce, or Arts for further studies. Students who are not satisfied with their scores can apply for revaluation or rechecking. Additionally, supplementary exams will be conducted for those who need to improve their results.
